Hi Friends 👋,

Tracking job changers, past champions that change jobs etc. has been a FANTASTIC signal for booking meetings.

An exec uses something like 75%+ of their budget within the first 100 days of their new job!

It’s irresponsible not to track these changes.

This signal is so good at booking meetings that companies like UserGems have literally built $10m+ ARR businesses on this signal alone.

Problem is, every platform and their mother are starting to bring this functionality into their products.

As with anything, when too many people start to use something it becomes commoditized and it’s effectiveness drops.

I've gotten this message so many times it's wild:



"Noticed you recently joined {Company}. That's exciting. Congrats!!

Sooo... want to buy?"

The secret sauce to making this play ACTUALLY work in 2024 depends on a few things:

1. Making sure your messaging is on point

2. Making sure that the job change in itself is not the ONLY reason you are reaching out.
