Hi Friends 👋,
Some IMPORTANT news that is likely going to affect everybody that is prospecting to a certain degree.
If you haven’t heard yet, Outreach.io just sent an email to all of it’s customers with the following update:
Starting in less than 3-months Google and Yahoo (and I’m sure Microsoft will follow) are going to be cracking down on spam big time.
A 0.3% spam rate is NOT even that high and you run the risk of getting your whole Org banned (not just the sales team).
This is actually fantastic news for us sales people that are doing things the right way because too much of this was happening:
Unfortunately this is far too common. Even some of us that take the time to think through and build great/relevant emails are having a harder time breaking through the noise.

I’ve seen this circulating around the community recently and something that the outbound contractor I’m working with encouraged we try (and is working).
It’s not always easy to do depending on what you offer, but this can come in a few different forms:
-Jed Mahrle did it when he was selling an email deliverability solution by offering his prospects a “free email deliverability audit”
-I’ve seen email and data providers offer a pre-built list of key accounts / personas in a prospects particular market
